Stacy Wyatt is the Creative Director at National Event Marketing Group (NEMG) a Canadian event marketing and communications agency. NEMG is the driving force behind canadianspecialevents.com, the event planners resource. Canadianspecialevents.com online, in print and face to face, connects canadian event planners with the suppliers, information and education they need to make their events successful, affordable and brilliant!. Among her many roles at NEMG, Stacy is the editor of canadianspecialevents.com online, the creative director of the Canadian Event Industry Awards and senior producer of the canadianspecialevents.com national and regional shows.

Since joining the industry in 1992 Stacy has worked on events all over the world. After five years in the corporate event industry, Stacy recognized a lack of affordable education and marketing opportunities in the event industry. She decided to change direction and began developing what is now a national support system for the event industry. Her shows, the Canadian Special Events & Meetings Expos have been the leading event industry shows and conferences in Canada for over 14 years and canadianspecialevents.com boasts the largest industry database in the country with over 34,000 subscribers. In addition to her professional network Stacy has devoted hundreds of hours to volunteer positions for several industry boards and publications. She was a founding board member of CSES and has held numerous positions on the ISES Vancouver board including Communications, Membership and President . She has been the recipient of several ISES Esprit Awards and in 2009 was honored by her peers with a Visionary Award for her role in the development and growth of the Canadian special event industry. Today Stacy sits an editorial advisory board member for Speaking of Impact, the Magazine of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, is a member of ISES Toronto, MPI Winnipeg and is the Communications Chair on ISES Canada Board. Always evolving, Stacy recently launched a new show in Winnipeg called the Winnipeg Green & Natural Living Show and is scheduled to release the first issue of Green & Natural Living Magazine in Oct 2011.
