ISES Canada AGM – another great year!

On September 21 ISES Canada held its 2nd annual AGM hosted in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto simultaneously via web conference. This nationwide event connected ISES members across Canada in an engaging and interactive program and demonstrated what it means to be an ISES member and how it connects members locally, nationally and internationally.

Eileen Bistrisky, ISES Canada Chair addressed ISES Canada members from the Calgary Chapter and delivered and inspiring speech outlining the goals, objectives and direction for ISES Canada in the coming year. Eileen also introduced the new Penni Holdham Volunteer Award which will be awarded annually to recognize an individual’s volunteer contribution to ISES Canada. Immediate Past Chair, Membership, Sponsorship, Communications, and Chapter Updates were delivered by representatives in each city. The 2010/2011 ISES Canada Board was sworn in.

An exceptional team of ISES members put in an outstanding collaborative effort across the country to coordinate this AGM. Thank you to the Board of Directors in each Chapter.
