The Education Portfolio is a natural progression in her commitment to encourage event professionals across Canada to embrace CSEP Certification in their overall dedication to the profession and continued commitment to excellence in the special events industry. Sharon has mentored a number of emerging designers who are now flourishing in the industry. Sharon’s event and wedding planning career was launched in the mid-1990's with her unique design flair landing her international acclaim by way of awards in the special event and wedding industries. Sharon enjoys designing highly successful, dynamic functions of any size and is skilled at handling client concerns and providing creative solutions. In 2003, Sharon joined Simply Elegant in Calgary as Operations, Marketing and Client Manager. As a Board member of ISES Vancouver for almost two years, Sharon now enjoy’s an active membership with ISES Calgary. In her spare time she rides her horse in the Rocky Mountains and raises her fourteen year old son, Nate.
