Rachel began her event planning career in Calgary where she volunteered at the city’s annual Santa Claus Parade while completing her certificate in Event Management at Mount Royal College. Calgary is also where she had her first taste of ISES attending the meetings as a student. She continued to strengthen her interest and dedication to the industry by later joining ISES Toronto and stepped into the VP Membership role shortly thereafter. Over the years she has held the Board positions of Director of Meeting Logistics, President Elect and Chapter President in 2009/2010. She is also currently volunteering on an International ISES committee. Rachel enjoys team sports and travelling. She especially enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and ringette. .
